Local Showing at Nationals

The Eastern region is not really known for being a “powerhouse” at the Nationals every year, simply by the fact that the average ski season for the region is about 6 weeks long.  Which is why its FANTASTIC that we have a showing from the Rochester area.  Matt Cole (B3), Nikki Dobbertin (G2) and Jessie Dobbertin [...]

KC Wilson edges out Tyler Yager at Nationals

KC Wilson takes 1st at the nationals with 4.5 buoys at 38 off. The score was enough to edge out Tyler Yager into second place, who was holding the lead until then with a 3 at 38 pass. We have the post ski interview with Tyler. Thanks for keeping us updated Marcus.

Guesses??

At regionals this year skiers were given a little goody bag.  Being my first time at this competition I don’t know if this is a common thing, or the a new idea.  Either way, the bag was filled with …. well… stuff.  Some of it was useful to a degree, I got a nice Kodak [...]

I was pretty comfortable with my fear, thinking that only the insane or amazingly athletic could ever consider entering a jump [...]

Inverted Practice

I didn’t realize how much I would be running around capturing moments once this event started.  There are no pauses in the action, making it a challenge to sit for a minute and write up ones thoughts.   I was able to come out for some of the day on Wednesday, which was a full day [...]
