World Championships – Womens prelim results

Of the 50 women from around the world skiing, only the top 12 go to the finals this weekend and the competition was FIERCE!  When the dust had settled, Canada’s own Whitney McClintock had taken the pole position with a score of 2 bouys at 10.75m (39.5off).  That was not the exciting part, after all of the scores were in there was a 7 way tie for 7th place!  If you do the math, only 6 can move on to the finals.  7 girls had skied 3bouys at 11.25m (38off) and had to go back out for another set.  See all results at http://waterski.online.fr/competition.php?cc=T-09IWSF02&page=TimeTable
